Therese Franziska Albertine was born on September 24th, 1833 in Leipzig.1   Therese Franziska Albertine's father was Gustav Albert Albert Lortzing and her mother was Rosina Regina Ahles.  Her paternal grandparents were Johann Gottlob Lortzing and Charlotte Sophie Seidel; her maternal grandfather was Johann Ahles and her maternal grandmother is Regina Dorothea Kühlbren (Kohlbren). She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Karl Theodoor, Johann Heinrich, Ferdinand Philipp Victor Johann, Bertha, Charlotte Albertina Rosina, Caroline Rosalie, Caroline Elisabeth Henriette Charlotte, Julie Eleonore Charlotte Luise, Anna Charlotte Henriette and Marie.  She was the nineth oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 48 on November 22nd, 1881.
